Bless our friends Lord

Lord bless our friends today we pray wherever

they may be. And help them as they go their way

to keep their trust in Thee

seems to care, Thy arm of love around them keep.

as though this vale they go; and stand by them

in every loss that they meet here below.

and comfort these, our friends.

One of our club members Gert van Eeden is also a big 4x4 enthusiast. Some club members went along on his last competition he competed in. It was great fun ! It blows ones mind what these guys can do with their 4 wheel monsters. I was lucky enough to be his co driver for the event, and can definitely say that this is something that can become addictive. The photos listed cannot describe the adrenaline that pumps when going though the obstacles, the time trail however was my favourite. You really need some nerve to do this !

The Motley team consisting of Gert (driver) and Takkie (co driver) finished 3rd in their class out of a total of 85 vehicles on the day. We could not have done this without the loyal support of our club members ! A special mention must also go to Sakkie Bal (Martinus) for the refreshments he kept coming all day long !

Motley Crew goes hunting

In 2009 we decided to arrange a yearly hunting trip for the boys. Not all members hunt, but for those who enjoy this sport can now enjoy it together with their biker friends.

Our first trip was to the Eastern Free State near Bethlehem and we had great fun.
Riaan Botha got the chance to shoot his first buck ever, and his initiation photo can be seen below. We hunted Rietbok and Blesbok during the trip. Great distances were walked over some rugged terrain, but it all added to the experience. The Bethlehem winter cold also added some laughs !

This page is dedicated to our carp fishing antics. We showcase each member's personal best carp.

Not everyone in the club are fishermen, but there is quite a couple of us that do enjoy the challenge of stalking big carp. We are not interested in catching huge quantities of small fish, but rather chase the big carp. This can be hard work to achieve the joy of catching one of these amazing specimens. We only take photo's of the fish we catch and immediately release them afterwards. After landing a fish it will only spend about 2 minutes on the bank before it is carefully released back into it's natural environment.

We have a club trophy that is fiercely contested between members.

The current holder is Takkie, with a 7.2 kg carp caught in Natal,
on the 4th of September 2010 on our last outing.
